Digital X-Rays & Sensors
Digital x-rays use comfortable digital sensors placed in your mouth to capture high-resolution images of your teeth and surrounding structures. The sensors connect to a computer, where the monitor displays the images, allowing dentists to view them instantly without developing film.
A significant benefit of digital x-rays is that they reduce radiation exposure by about 80 percent compared to traditional x-rays while allowing our dentist to diagnose dental issues accurately and efficiently. We can also share the images with you easily so you can see an issue like a cavity and understand why we recommend treatment.
Digital x-rays are also safer for the environment because we don't have to dispose of harmful chemicals.
Your x-rays become part of your digital patient record so we can access them easily to monitor conditions or share them with your insurance company.

Intraoral Cameras
An intraoral camera is a small, handheld device that gives us a magnified image of the inside of your mouth. The device has a digital camera and light source that captures clear images, which appear in real-time on a computer screen or television monitor.
Our dentist shares the images with you so you can better understand your oral health needs and be more involved in your treatment.
Other benefits of intraoral cameras include the following:
- Helping us detect cavities, cracked teeth, and gum disease early on when they are easier to treat
- Providing a detailed visual record of your dental condition needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Showing you detailed "before and after" images of your dental work
We store your intraoral images in your digital patient record, so they are always available to monitor your oral health and send to specialists and your insurance company.

Digital Impressions
If you dislike messy dental impressions, you’ll appreciate iTero digital technology that does away with the uncomfortable process. Instead, we use a handheld intraoral scanner to capture digital images of your mouth, which are compiled into a highly accurate 3-D virtual model of your teeth and gums.
Digital impressions are also far more accurate and detailed than traditional impressions, allowing our dentist to plan Invisalign treatment and create precise tooth restorations like crowns, bridges, and veneers.

Rotary Endodontics
We are pleased to introduce rotary endodontics, an electric handpiece we use to perform comfortable root canal treatment. This technology replaces the traditional time-consuming method of removing infected material with manual files.
Rotary endodontics allows our dentist to comfortably, efficiently, and accurately shape and clean root canals. The result is less time in the dental chair for you and more positive treatment outcomes.

Digital Records
Your digital records are simply an electronic version of your patient records. These records include everything from medical history and x-rays to intraoral photos and treatment plans. Our team can work most efficiently with digital records because the information is accessible at the touch of a button.
