Dr. Olivia Oriani
Dr. Olivia Oriani ("Dr. O" to her patients) grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania but now calls the nation’s capital her home. A Nittany Lion at heart, she received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State University. Her interest in science and the hands-on aspect of dentistry led her to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Upon graduation, she was also awarded the Frank C. Jerbi Award for excellence in prosthodontics. Dr. O has a passion for knowledge and aims to learn new techniques and keep her skills current throughout her career. She loves attending continuing education courses in the DC community and was recently selected as a 2023 Top Dentist by Washingtonian!
Dr. O strives to always deliver the best possible care to her patients. She chose to further her education and complete a residency at the Baltimore Veterans Association Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where she provided much-needed restorative, surgical, and esthetic procedures for veterans. She has also participated in multiple mission trips to treat those with limited access to proper healthcare. The most recent of these brought her to Sorsogon City in the Philippines. Her compassion propels her to provide top-notch care for all her patients.
Dr. O is an active member of the American Dental Society and the DC Dental Society. She practices a wide variety of general dentistry procedures, including esthetic crown and bridge work, porcelain veneers, composite bonding, root canal therapy, and implant restoration. She takes great pride in her work, and patient comfort is her top priority.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. O is an avid snowboarder and enjoys playing tennis and keeping active. You’ll likely catch her at Barry’s Bootcamp or Soul Cycle in her free time. She also loves traveling, exploring DC, and spending time with her friends, family, and Birman cat Theo.
Ron
Ron has been working in dentistry since 2013 and has spent many years working alongside Dr. O as an integral part of her team. What started as a summer job in the dental industry has grown into a passion he loves. He has experience in many aspects of dentistry, ranging from pediatrics to prosthodontics. Ron is here to help and assist with all of your dental needs.
Ron grew up in Richmond, VA and enjoys visiting his family there. He now lives in DC and enjoys the busy city life. In his free time Ron enjoys visiting bookstores and buying books that he does not get to read most of the time. A Coldplayer at heart, Ron is always on the lookout to attend their next concert.
Michelle Kaszas
Dental Hygienist
Michelle Kaszas has been in the dental field since 2003, starting as a DA in Greenville, NC and practicing as a Dental Hygienist since 2006. Michelle has a strong background in dentistry with certifications for local anesthesia, TMD, periodontal laser therapy, and oral cancer screening. Originally from Panama, she attended Florida State University undergraduate and University of Florida where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. Michelle is skilled in all aspects of dental hygiene, including cleanings, periodontal therapy, and patient education.
Michelle says that the best part of her job is the people, their stories, and their experiences. “I learn a lot from the patients. I have the pleasure of connecting with a vast array of people from different walks of life. Knowing them makes me a better person. My hope is that I help to better their lives in some way too. I believe that dental hygiene is not just about clean teeth, but also about building a strong foundation for lifelong oral health. I’d like to think that I help to make the dental experience better for the people I treat.”
